Writers @ LPL is a writing group hosted by Lakeland Public Library (100 Lake Morton Drive). Writers @ LPL meets the first Wednesday each month in the Meeting Room.

Topic: Why can’t I get started? Help!

Many new writers have problems with knowing how to begin writing. Why is that? The problem lies in one of two directions: subject or craft. We’ll discuss ways to figure out which – subject or craft – has your writing mojo stifled.

 

7pm | The Next Level for Intermediate Writers (7 – 8:50pm)

Topic: Breaking New Ground

You’ve written your fair share of poems, articles, books but you’re having a hard time starting your next work.  What gives? We’ll cover techniques (exercises and yes,…writing playdates) to help wake your imagination factory.
