Flash and Flair of Writing

6pm | First Steps for New Writers (6 – 7pm)

Topic: Writing Done in a Flash

There are so many types of writing that it’s hard to pick just one. Especially if you only manage to write in small bursts. We’ll discuss three short writing forms – flash fiction, flash nonfiction, and poetry – that bring the whole idea of writing within reach.

7pm | The Next Level for Intermediate Writers (7 – 8:50pm)

Topic: Where there’s Flash, There’s Flair

Flash fiction. Flash nonfiction. Poetry? What’s so spiffy about ‘em? We’ll discuss how writing flash (and even poetry) is a viable way to beef up your writing skills.
