Adult Sewing 101: Because I Said Sew!
For adults who are new to sewing or need a refresher, join us for a three-class hands-on beginner sewing series to gain experience and confidence with machine- and hand-sewing.
- Class One: Get to know the sewing machine and basic tools, learn to thread the machine, and sew straight seams
- Class Two: Cutting and working with fabric and hand-sewing buttons (Day 1 of two-part project)
- Class Three: Sewing with a zipper and working with different material (Day 2 of two-part project)
Registration is required and will open Monday, May 12th at 5:30 PM. You can register online when registration opens or by calling or visiting a Lakeland Library for staff to assist with registration.
*This class is intended for adult participants ages 18+*
**NOTE: If you have attended Adult Sewing 101 previously, you are not eligible to register for this learn-to-sew series. Any repeat registrants will be removed from the list.**
