The Reserve Book Club

Want to discuss that popular new title you just finished?  We're here for you!  Every month we'll discuss a recent best-selling book.

In October we will be discussing The Reformatory by Tananarive Due, a book that combines elements of horror, historical fiction, and literary fiction.  This  gripping, page-turning novel set in Jim Crow Florida, follows Robert Stephens Jr. as he's sent to a segregated reform school that is a chamber of terrors. Inspired by the author's own family history with the notorious Dozier School for Boys in Florida, the novel explores themes of racism, trauma, and survival.
