Youth Sewing Saturday
We've got the basics, where can we go? Join us on Saturday for projects to sew!
Older kids and teens ages 9-17 are invited to join us for a free 1-hour class for students with some sewing machine experience. Each month, we will make a project that explores a new sewing skill.
February's Project: Fabric Heart Garland
Sewing Saturday is limited to eight (8) participants.
Registration is required and will open one week before the class begins. You can register online when registration opens or by calling or visiting a Lakeland Library for staff to assist with registration.
If you are more than 10 minutes late to the class without notifying instructors that you will be delayed, your seat may be given to the next participant on the waitlist.
**Please note, this is not an introduction to sewing or sewing machines. Students should have some basic experience with sewing machines to participate.**
