Youth Sewing Saturday at Jackson Branch
We've got the basics, where can we go? Join us on Saturday for projects to sew!
Older kids and teens ages 9-17 are invited to join us for a free one-hour class for students with some sewing machine experience. Each month, we will make a project that explores a new sewing skill.
October's Project: Fabric Pumpkin
Sewing Saturday is limited to eight (8) participants.
Registration is required and will open one week before the class begins. You can register online when registration opens or by calling or visiting a Lakeland Library for staff to assist with registration.
**NOTE: This October project is the same as the Sewing Saturday class on September 14, 2024. If you attended the September 2024 Sewing Saturday, you are not eligible to register for this class. Any repeat registrants will be removed from the class list.**
**Please note, this is not an introduction to sewing or sewing machines. Students should have some basic experience with sewing machines to participate.**
