Introduction to Photo Editing

Learn to use Photopea, a free browser based software that is similar to Adobe Photoshop. This course is for users who want to move beyond basic photo manipulation and explore some of the amazing features of this powerful image editing software.

 

The class will take users through:

  • Creating and using image layers
  • Editing and creating layer masks
  • Basic color/lighting correction
  • Smart tools and automation
  • Merging photos
  • Exporting images for print and web

 

Basic image editing experience is recommended, no experience with Photopea or Photoshop required.

Registration will open on February 4th and is required if you need to use a library-provided laptop. If you would prefer to use your personal laptop during class, please email christopher.mcmachen@lakelandgov.net instead of registering for the class.
