Learn to Knit!

Learn to Knit!

This four-part series is intended for those with little-to-no experience knitting. All materials will be provided, only registration is required! During the sessions, you will learn the basics of knitting while making a dishcloth, including:

  • Understanding materials
  • Reading a pattern
  • Casting on stitches
  • Knitting and Purling
  • Binding off and finishing

Class one will cover everything you need to get started knitting. Classes two and three allow for continued guided practice. Class four will conclude the series by showing participants how to finish their work. Practicing at home in-between sessions is encouraged, but not required. Participants who finish their project before class four can be shown how to bind off stitches and weave in loose ends during any of the sessions.
