Dates: November 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th @ 10AM to 12 PM
This series will present different lessons relating to Microsoft Word 2016 and its functions. The course is designed to explore Microsoft Word 2016 and prepare participants for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exam 77-725: Microsoft Word 2016. After the class’s conclusion, participants will have the opportunity to schedule a time to take the MOS exam 77-725: Microsoft Word 2016 (if desired). The series is free of charge and all necessary materials will be provided.
The lessons will cover topics including:
- Understanding Word
- Basic Editing
- Character Formatting
- Paragraph Formatting
- Managing Text Flow
- Creating Tables
- Working with Themes, Style Sets, Backgrounds, and Text Boxes
- Using Illustrations and Graphics
- Formatting a Research Paper
Basic computer and typing skills are required.
Registration will open one week prior to the first class and is required if you need to use a library-provided laptop.
If your personal laptop has Microsoft Word 2016 and you prefer to use it during class please emai l christopher.mcmachen@lakelandgov.net instead of registering for the class. Registration is only required for participants seeking to use a library provided laptop.
