Writers @ LPL [Main Library Meeting]

Writers @ LPL is a writing group hosted by Lakeland Public Library (100 Lake Morton Drive). Writers @ LPL meets the first Wednesday each month in the Meeting Room. 

* Writers will now have two sessions in one evening *
First Steps for New Writers (6 –
7pm)
This first session will be geared towards new writers and will address topics for beginning writers.
The Next Level for Intermediate Writers (7 –
8:50pm). 
The second session will focus on topics and interests for intermediate writers.

Is your dream to see your name on the cover of a book, in a magazine/newspaper, or on a blog? Publication is always an exciting proposition (when it happens) but…are you actually writing now? Discover the steps required before you get your work into print.


7pm | The Next Level for Intermediate Writers (7 – 8:50pm)

Topic: More Ways to Get Your Writing Done

Michelle Schlorb, NaNoWriMo Community Liaison for Lakeland will speak about November’s National Novel Writing Month and how to get started. Also, learn more ways to get your writing done on a regular basis.
